Installation

Install from the Shopify App Store

1. Visit the SimplerSuite Recommendations listing on the Shopify App Store.
2. Click Add app and authorize the required permissions.
3. You’ll be redirected to the app’s admin dashboard inside your Shopify admin.

Required Permissions

The app requests the following Shopify API scopes:

Scope	Purpose
read_products	Fetch product data for recommendation models
read_orders	Analyze purchase patterns for ML training
read_customers	Associate recommendation signals with shoppers
write_script_tags	Inject the recommendation widget on your storefront

Post-Install Setup

After installation:

1. Enable the app embed — Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize and toggle on “SimplerSuite Recommendations” in the App embeds section.
2. Configure your first widget — In the app dashboard, go to Widgets and create a placement (product page is recommended to start).
3. Verify the widget — Visit a product page on your storefront and confirm recommendations appear.

The app starts collecting interaction data immediately. ML-powered recommendations activate automatically once enough signals are gathered (typically 500+ events).
